Service Description
● Warm-Up (15 minutes): ○ Begin with the same warm-up routine. ● Passing and Ball Movement (20 minutes): ○ Practice passing drills, including 2-man passing and ○ Emphasize court awareness and making quick decisions with the "Decision-Making Drill." ● Team Offense (20 minutes): ○ Introduce basic offensive plays: ○ Setting screens, making cuts, and spacing on the court. ○ Teaching teamwork and player movement. ● Team Defense (20 minutes): ○ Introduce help defense, switching, and defensive rotations. ○ Emphasize communication on the court. ● Scrimmage (30 minutes): ○ Divide the students into teams and have a controlled scrimmage. ○ Encourage students to apply the concepts learned in a game setting. ● Advanced Drills (15 minutes): ○ Introduce more advanced drills like "Mikan Drill" for layup practice and "Spot Shooting Drill" to work on shooting accuracy. ● Cool Down (10 minutes): ○ Finish with light stretching and deep breathing exercises.
